Hi, Can someone please tell me how I can copy contacts (people) to the SIM on my HTC Desire S - I have searched the internet and no luck. Lots of people asking the question, but no straight answer found . This seems such a basic task so I am very disappointed it isn't an obvious item on the menu :mad:

Go into your people app and click settings. There should be an option to export contacts there.

Your contacts should also already be backed up to google so when you sign back in they'll be there

Unfortunately this does not do the job since there is only an option to import from SIM. I have downloaded copy2sim app but this is far from straightforward. It tried to copy 682 contacts when I really only had 319 - it doubled up plus added a few more, so I had to remove over half one-by-one, then copy to the SIM. Then when I trimmed down to 250, it missed some on the copy to SIM, so not too good.

While copy2sim went through the motions of copying to the sim, it doesn't copy anything at all. It just gives a misleading message but the sim remains empty. Is the HTC really this useless that phone contacts can not be put on the sim?:confused::rolleyes: You can actually do them one at a time - what a joke on us as users?

Have apps like this developed because phone companies and operating system developers are too lazy to put the basic tools into settings?
