i forgot my gmail account password on my android phone i want to change my gmail account on my android phone how do i do it?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums! 
A factory reset would disassociate your old account from your phone and allow you to set it up with a new Gmail account. It would delete all user data/apps though.
If you can't remember your password, you should be able to perform it by turning off the phone and then turning it back on, whilst holding the volume down button - this should start the phone up and give you the option to boot in to recovery... you would then use the volume buttons to navigate and the power button to select.
