Gmail app and Select All

I cannot seem to find a Select All feature on gmail app.

Is there one?

Select all for what? What are you trying to do? If your trying to delete the inbox no there is not but spam n trash you can empty box.

From inbox to Archive, it seems I have to open them one by one and archive one by one.

Ok so this worked on mine I selected what I wanted to archive then at the top there is a folder icon with an arrow on it and that archived them all. The icon is to the left of the trashcan

I am aware of that icon but couldn't find out how to actually select as the tick box had gone.

But I found out now ok, just tap the profile icon on each message and away you go.

I've been crying about it for a few years. Gmail refuses to put a select all option. That's why I use K-9

Quite agree it is silly as the Select All is on desktop.

I also use k-9 for my other emails I like that too as you can have separate icons for each email addy. Brilliant
