Help Gmail app picture compression

[Axedry]

Hi,

On my phone if I email a picture it is sent full resolution uncompressed. My wife's phone however compresses the image so that the quality is much reduced.

I'm assuming that there is a setting somewhere in the gmail app where I can set this, but I can't find it. Can someone please tell me where it is?

Thx.

I use Aqua mail and it will ask you about compression, 'none', or how much? and it offers 3 levels I think?

* Aqua Mail - email app - Android Apps on Google Play

I have used it on Gmail account w/o compression issues... send stuff from the phone via gmail account to my main Yahoo account and the images arrive full size.

I don't like the Gmail mobile app.
