Gmail app show only 20 latest mails

[jslegers]

Hello,

Is it possible for the standard Gmail app in Android 2.2.1 on a HTC Wildfire to show/read the latest 20 mails. My mailbox contains about 5900 mails and I don't to sync my whole mail box. Or is there a replacement application for it.

I don't use the standard Gmail app, but I think that K9 mail will do what you want. k9mail - K-9 Mail is an advanced email client for Android - Google Project Hosting

in the gmail app, hit menu-settings-labels, and set your inbox to only sync the last 7 days or so.

It is a temporary problem. don,t worry. Just restart your device and try again.

In settings there is a option that you can see your latest 7 days emails. I hope you got it.
