Gmail Attachments in Convo

So this may well be me missing something, but Im throwing it out here

In the gmail app, in my inbox, emails are listed as convos, ie the message and my reply in one

if an email is sent to me with an attachment, i can get at the attachment. when I reply to that email, the resulting convo is what i see in the inbox...but i see no way to get at the attachment. the same holds if I send an email, once i get a reply the attachment can not be accessed

any advice?

nevermind i got it

if anyone finds this thread with the same confusion....its the little bar at the top of the message that expands the convo
