Gmail calender import problem

[II Kings 9:20]

My buddy did our work schedule. Emailed his gmail calender via ical (which is recognized by gmail) to me and I am unable to import the schedule to my gmail. His Iphone immediately imported from the gmail calender. I can see the schedule on the laptop gmail calender but it does not show up on the my Moto Droid phone. Any clues?

Have you thought about sharing Google calendars? My partner and I share 2 calendars which means the moment she add's an entry I get to see it as well.

Thanks. Not really, he is an iphone guy and put the work calender into gmail just for me to simply sync with my existing gmail calender. The gmail calender amazingly synced with his iphone but not my android phone.
