Gmail / Droid Question

Not sure if anyone will know this, but here goes: If I use Gmail to consolidate several different email addresses, I can select any of those as the sending address when sending from my Gmail inbox. Is there a way to accomplish that from the Gmail app in the Droid?

It doesn't seem like there's an option to send from a different non-gmail account.

Not than I have found. My iPhone lets me do this, but no go on the Droid..

That is not the only frustrating thing with the doid when it comes down to using emails/gmail. There are so many other limitations.
