Gmail Duplicates Emails on Sync

[Steviebdotnet]

Hi guys,

I now have a HTC Desire X as my new work phone, and have a wee problem with it.

When I send emails from Gmail, the original copy is sent without any issue, however at the next sync it's re-sent.

I'm running Google Apps for business if that makes any difference.

Any ideas?

I would start by clearing the Gmail app data via settings>applications>manage applications>all.

I'll give it a blast.

On a side not, I just setup the account in the mail app, no duplication at all.

I'll post up results soon.

Yep clearing the data did the trick! Thanks for the heads up.

I find the Gmail app data a little temperamental. Clearing data often sorts out problems & nothing is lost as it just re-syncs.

The thought never even occurred to me to be honest. Glad it's sorted now though.
