Gmail issue with new fiber

So I've just got sky fiber, and I've noticed that my Gmail on my phone (sgs5) say no connection works fine on 4g and everything else works OK the interweb is working fine on 40mbps my emails (diff acxount) syncs fine it's just Gmail?

Seems to work fine on my tablet running cm10

Hmm seems to be working now but all very odd, on occasions it says uve finished have a nice day with a sun type picture..

Hmm odd problem this it's just happened again then worked after that, anyone else had an issue with Gmail after upgrading or with fiber/sky fiber?

Now I'm getting a message saying couldn't save attachment and you've finished have a nice day? There are several emails in my inbox and nothing with an attachment..

The first thing I would try us via system settings > apps navigate to gmail & clear data. Then open your gmail app & it will all sync again.

I'd done this but after the 3rd time it seems to work for now..
