Gmail issue

I have noticed recently that when I select one of my contacts that I'd like to email, the Gmail application is adding a <mailto> tag before the users name and email address....

I don't recall it doing that before, but unless I remove the <mailto> portion, Gmail complains that its not a valid email address.

I sync my phone with Gmail, so I'm not sure where this <mailto> tag is coming from in the email address.....

Any suggestions??

Make sure the <mailto> tag isn't somehow inserted in the contacts now. The second thing you can try is: Menu button > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > all > Gmail > clear data

I cleared all the info, and its still happening.

I have verified that there is no <mailto> in my Gmail contact on the Gmail website.....so I'm not sure where its coming from...
