GMail issue

I am having an annoying issue with my Gmail app on my Droid X2 as it no longer automatically opens to my inbox when selecting the app. I thought it was supposed to remember the last screen you were on in the app but now every time I get a new email - I have to select the account (there is only 1) even if the inbox was the last screen. Its one extra click but I find it irritating. This issue just appeared and I dont remember changing anything. Is there any way to change this?

Try clearing cache and data via Manage Applications .. that often sorts out buggy apps.
