Gmail issues

Anyone else having Gmail issues? For the last few days, it is not updating "live". I can hit refresh and they will appear but nothing is happening "real time". Any suggestions would be appreciated

Do you have background sync disabled..such as using the battery extender smart action? In my experience when the background sync is disabled things like Gmail do not live update until re-enable background sync.

Put the power control widget on one of your home screens. Make sure you have the recycle button turned on. This button allows your phone to sync freely without having to refresh things.

I am having the same problem. All of the sudden it seems like my email is not sycing live! I have eveything set correctly, so I don't know what the problem is. It's becoming rather annoying. Are there any fixes for it?
