Gmail New Message Count Missing?

After updating to 2.3.3, the Gmail icon no longer shows the new message count (little green number on top og the icon). Has anyone else noticed this? I still get it for texts/SMS though

What new message counter? I'm still running 2.2.1 and I don't have a new message counter on my stock gmail icon.

I dont have it either...it may be an app that is not updated yet. I had an app that showed a number for the new emails on gmail on the Inc1, but have not tried it on the Inc2 yet.

Maybe I'm wrong and I'm thinking of my DINC1....

The envelope in the notification bar changed with the 2.3.3 upgrade. It's now a grey envelope.

You need to download "Gmail Unread Count" from the market.
