Gmail notification to show subject

[amossz]

Hi

When there is one new email, the notification area shows the subject of the new email but once there are more than one email, it doesn't.

I saw several other notifications that does that but apparently Gmail has blocked this from working. Does Google has any plans for this in the (very) near future or what? Are there working (free) notifications that can show the subject as well, or maybe convince Gmail app itself to do so?

Thanks

Apparently, there are more problems with the notification of Gmail.

Everytime I delete an email in gmail site, I get a notification regarding the rest of the unread emails I still have there, I don't remember this happening previously. I asked Gmail to sync Gmail and to notify me of new emails but it seems to it took too seriousbly

Am I missing something?
I'm using 2.3.6 (samsung galaxy mini I)
