The "real" question I should have asked is, how much of a risk is there that someone might gain access to our GMail accounts? It's one thing to be gullible and give out your password information to someone on a Phishing expedition. But it's another for those with access to our phones to siphon information from our accounts. I guess I'm wondering, should Android users create a "dummy" main account for their Android phones, one that you use for casual correspondence only? Although, it's not something you would typically think about when you first set up your phone. And by then -- it's too late, unless you want to restore your phone to factory defaults in order to switch to a different account.
I hope I'm being "paranoid" here, but otherwise it seems like it could be (or become) a serious issue.
