GMAIL problems

When I try using the app on my droid razr I can only view the inbox.

I can only click an exsisting message and repy to it, I cannot compose a new email.

I looked at the description from the download page and the pic shows a bar at the bottom of the screen that I do not have.

Anyone have any idea on how to fix this because I tried uninstalling it to try to reinstall it but it said I have to revert it to factory settings which I'm not about to do.

When in the Gmail app, click the menu button on your RAZR. It should be the bottom left with the 3 horizontal bar. It should pop up with the Compose option to compose a new mail.

No problem. We were all idiots at some point when it comes to smartphone

same story, different verse. i have a superpadii, which isn't so super. email app that came with it lets me add accounts, but not compose. finally installed maildroid, life is good. now, if i could figure how to wipe offending app.
