Gmail push problem

Hello,

Since a few month I have problems with Gmail. Incoming mails arrive often 20 to 30 mins later than they should have been pushed. I already did a hard reset but it did not get better. I also reset the data of gmail and gmail storage a few times but only the first mail after the reset arrives in time, the following mails are again delayed. The problem exists when connected through 3G or Wifi. Does anybody has an advice for me?

Thx

Do you have Menu > Settings > Wireless Controls > Mobile network settings > Enable always-on mobile ticked? If not when the phone is in stand-by you won't have a connection. Do mails come straight through if the phone is awake?

Always-on mobile is active. Even when the phone is awake, mails don't come through immediately.
