Gmail question

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere, but I even looked at the similar threads popup.

Just recently I've been having trouble with the gmail all. It says I have 1 unread message at the top "Inbox (1)" however, the message won't show on the screen for me to click on.

It's not the syncing as others have said, and all labels are currently set to being viewed.
App has been restarted, and same with phone.

Any idea's?

Try going into your gmail app and then clicking the menu button and clicking refresh.

Try going into settings >applications >management and then all. Then find gmail and clear cache and data. This should work but will clear gmail settings.

Erm I tried this, However, now it says "Your email will appear shortly" and nothing happens (even after restart).

Also says "Waiting for sync"
And yes I have tried to sync it, but nothing happens when I press sync.

If still happenning from your inbox - menu --> search --> type "label:unread" (without the quotes)

Should find the email you are looking for...
