Gmail resetting when replying

I have a problem that I wonder if it is unique. When repling to an email (gmail) sometimes the screen turns white, it goes back to my message, and I lose everything I wrote. Has anyone had this problem? Is this just an odd glitch or is something set up wrong?

FYI I use the tactile keyboard.
