I need to be able to setup my gmail account as an exchange active sync account, this is for various reasons and flaws in the normal gmail app.
Anyway, on my old iPhone I was able to have gmail setup as an exchange account without any issues. I'm trying to do the same thing now on my Galaxy S4 but it seems the phone can't connect to the gmail servers.
Settings are:
Email: myemail@gmail.com
domain\user name: myemail@gmail.com
exchange server: m.google.com
SSL is on.
On the iPhone the settings are exactly the same, the only difference is the domain setting on the iPhone is a separate field, which is left blank, which is what I have done above
It just says 'Can't connect to server'
