Help GMail setup via Exchange

Curious: do you, You or YOU have your Gmail email\account setup via Exchange?

If you do, does the Play shop still work currently when installing apps, etc?

No GMail account added as GMail means no app market at all. Simple

Unless I stopped the default sync from synching Email, Calendar and Contacts. But then set Exchange to sync those items. Exchange seems to offer a few more features, in particular badge notification(s)...
