Hi,
I have had by HTC desire for over a year and always had my gmail account linked up and always been fine. I noticed yesterday it just said 'no mail' and the inbox was empty which is not right as I always have 20 or 30 emails. I logged in to gmail and checked and still loads of emails in the inbox.
I checked the htc mail settings and it is set to show all emails up to 30 days old and up to 100k in size which means loads should be showing. It connects / syncs fine when you refresh but every time just comes back with no emails.
I have even deleted the account and added it back in. If I send an email it sends out fine so the login / connection is all working fine. Absolutley nothing has changed on the phone in the last 3 months so I cannot see a single reason to explain this.
What is evn stranger is that on the home screen, it will show the little number on the mail icon e.g '3' to indicate it has checked and found 3 new emails yet as soon as I open the app, it just says no mail.
I have googled this and can find no similar problem. I just cannot understand how my mailbox has lots of mail and the phone is happily connecting / syncing every 15 minutes and even shoing the icon to say new emails yet when going in to the inbox, there is nothing.
It seemed to look like a setting error but I have been through them all and all seems fine (and nothing had been changed or touched anyway)
Any ideas???
