Help Gmail stuck in draft folder

hrabbit

Newbie
Trying to send gmails, but they just go to the drafts folder, where they remain forever. No apparent way to send them from there. Ridiculous. Using Galaxy Tab 4 with Android 4.4.2. Anybody know what's going on?

Thanx, H

So they never send? The emails go directly to the drafts folder?
Can you open the message in the draft folder, hit the edit icon (looks like a pen) then send it?

I've had Gmail do that.

Once it does, it stays stuck with those.

I had to open each draft, copy and paste it into a new message and send that, then delete the draft - repeat until drafts clear.

It's neither a Samsung nor an Android problem, it's strictly on their side.

It hounded me for a week or so and then cleared itself up.

Yes, they go directly to the drafts folder and stay there. I can open them with the pen icon and try to send them again, but they never go anywhere.

Thanx. Good to know it's not me who's messing up. -- H
