Help Gmail unread count not showing up...

[Shoop]

When I receive an email there is no number on the lockscreen or the homescreen icons stating there is an unread message.
When I miss a call or recieve a test message both the lockscreen and the homescreen have the number of missed calls or messages.
Anyway to fix the gmail unread count not showing?

Is this for the default GMail app, or did you set it up as Exchange?

I thought the volume amount of emails showed in the notification bar, no?

Default Gmail app. It show up in the notification bar. It just dosen't post the number of unread emails in the upper right corner of the icon.

The Gmail app DOESN'T offer that, unless you have a launcher like Go Launcher Ex installed. Only Exchange email icon (the default before installing the GMail one) does.
