Hi all, new to the forums here.

This might seem like a silly question, but its driving me crazy.
I changed the picture of myself in my gmail settings on my pc and all went well, I sent a test email to myself and the new picture was displayed.

However, when I use the gmail app on my android phone or ASUS tablet it still shows the old pic I used. Latitude on both phone and tablet display the new pic, just the mail app shows the old pic.

If i sign into gmail using the web on my phone or tab, it shows new pic.

I changed the pic 3 days ago, tried manually syncing dozens of times, not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any ideas?

Maybe if you clear the cache in app settings.

Have you tried clearing data which is also in app settings then signing back in

When you say "picture in your gmail settings", what exactly do you mean? Unless you are talking about another spot to add a profile type of avatar, I just created a Gmail contact for myself and added it there. Any time I wipe my phone to flash a new rom, I have to go back in to my phone's settings and add my profile picture to my account name.
