Gmail

Phone doesn't sync to laptop. I've tried several suggestions I saw online but still no dice. Any ideas or has anyone else had the problem.
Gmail is not my primary email program, but I need it for a couple of sites that I use. Every other app seems to sync just fine.

What program are you using to sync it with? I just have my laptop email program set up with my gmail account on it, so Google Mail takes care of the syncing. (Both programs are looking at the same email account, so they're always in sync, I don't have to do anything to sync them.)

I use Outlook most of the time. Both email accounts are linked to Google. I have phone set to sync with both accounts. No problem with Outlook but not getting anything on gmail on phone. Laptop is fine.

Just set both the Outlook and phone app to use IMAP (the Google app does this automatically). If you're using POP3 on Outlook and deleting email, you're deleting it from the server and you'll never see it on the phone.
