Gmote Search

Hey everyone,

I just got my HTC hero for xmas and i love it! i downloaded the gmote application and could not be more impressed with its capabilities; however, i do have one question: is there a way to search through the music on my phone rather than having to scroll through the whole entire list? Thanks!

I didn't notice a search facility but you can always email the Dev and ask them

Yeah i love this app.

In fact i think i've just bumped like 3 threads about it as i was going to make one.

As far as i know there is still no search facility but in the comments there have been a lot of want for one, so it might be in an update soon.

Because there doesn't appear to be a search feature, or at least a jump-to feature, I took all my music files and put them into 27 new, separate folders, # through Z.

I have thousands of mp3 files (yes, all legal ) and it takes forever to load the root folder. Now that they're split up, it's faster to load and easier to navigate around.
