Help GN 10.1 use with Projector

Hi all, I bought my Note 10.1 when it first came out replacing my ipad 2. I want to use this device in my PowerPoint presentations which typically, I need to connect to a projector, with no wifi options.... Old equipment at work. What would be my best option for this? I already have the hdmi connector for my GS3, but I suspect I cannot use that since the connector for the Note is different than the GS3...unless a converter is available? Looking forward to reading some feedback. Tx.

Although newer projectors are generally moving toward including HDMI connectors, if where you work is like it is for me, the current projectors require a VGA connection. To get VGA, it seems the only route is SGN>>HDMI>>VGA>>Projector. Samsung sells the 30 pin to HDMI adapter, but you'll need a third party HDMI to VGA adapter (mine is a Cable Matters from Amazon). This works, but for me seems a bit choppy at times. Anyway, using two stacked adapters is a total kluge in my opinion and Samsung should get us a straight up VGA adapter!
