Root GNM's aloha android build files

Alright folks, I don't know if anyone has tried this yet, but here are some files from GNM (the guy who creates the recovery image that we're using on this phone) for porting the aloha to cyanogenmod.

See: https://github.com/getitnowmarketing/android_device_lge_aloha

It includes, among other things, a script to extract all the binary proprietary LG bits from the rom. These are the files that are not included in a default android build: https://github.com/getitnowmarketing/android_device_lge_aloha/blob/gingerbread/extract-files.sh

I'm going to see what I can do with this - maybe cyanogenmod is more than a pipe dream. :D

Cheers

It looks like, if one takes the instructions for another device (say, this one) and slightly modifies the instructions to include the aloha device stuff, it might just be possible to build CM 7 for our alohag. Might not work. Might explode violently. But hey! We can try! :D

If anyone is interesting in helping with a port to CM7 (and has the technical skills), I've set up a git thing to track what I'm doing here: https://github.com/jiilik/android_device_lge_alohag/

It doesn't really do anything yet - and in fact, I can't really test it for a few days since it'll take that long to check out the CM7 sources. Anyway, I figure, since I can get the kernel to build happily, it's time to move to a bigger project. CM7 seems like a big enough step. Feel free to help out!

Cheers
