Go Directly to Message App from Lock Screen

[barrylacter]

When I see on the lock screen that I have a new message, I'd like to able to go directly to the Messaging App when I unlock the phone. Is there a way?

Now I get taken to the home screen and have to open the Messaging App from there.

Possibly with an app, but with a stock phone there is not an option for that... it seems they wanted to make things more secure for the user

From your lockscreen you can tap on the message and then swipe the area under the notification and it will take you to the app. I dont use a passcode so it may be different if you do.

Go locker does this but i aggree id like the 4.1.2 lockscreen back from s3, or a cm11 style one
