GO Keyboard T9 option

Bl1zz4rd

Newbie
I recently updated my S4 to Android 4.4 and my old version of GO Keyboard stopped working and gave an error message. I uninstalled it and installed the latest version of the app, which was released yesterday, April 25 2014.

The default keyboard layout is qwerty, but I've always used a 3x4 numeric keypad layout. I can't seem to find the option in the settings to switch to this.

The keyboard I'm referring to is the one on the right in this image:http://fs02.androidpit.info/afg/x01/3599201-1354877849032.jpg

Is it still supported? If so, how can I change to it?

Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.

I don't have much experience with that keyboard, but where were you seeing the number pad show up? Was its phone dialed? Or was it popping up on any field that was looking for numbers?

It was everywhere. Fortunately I've managed to get it back. I did so by clicking on the "English" button above the keyboard and choosing "Switch Layouts". It's an arb way to get to it, but at least I'm aware of it now.

On my tab I like SwiftKey but on my phone I prefer a 3x4 (t9) layout and ive used this keyboard for well over 3yrs after trying a lot of them https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cdeguet.smartkeyboardtrial
Check it out and if you type fast on a 3x4.like me then lower the "multitap interval" in "general settings" ;)

Awesome, thank you. I'll have a look at it. I do tend to type really fast on those keyboard layouts, so I'll definitely change the setting. Does it have advertisements because it's a trial version?

I use pro but when I used the trial there were no ads, it just nagged me to buy it sometime
