Go Launcher Default Screen

Started using GoLauncher and have a settings question.

I would like my main "home" screen to be default every time I turn on the screen. However...it is now set to go to the screen I was on when the screen is turned off.

Anyone know how to change this option?

Thanks

While on your home screen, "pinch" it using your thumb and forefinger. This should bring up a screen showing all your home screens, or panels.

At the bottom of each panel you'll see a little house icon; the green one shows your "main" home screen. To change it, just tap the house icon of the screen you want to be your "main" home screen.

By the way, from the screen showing all the panels, you can jump to any panel by just touching it.

You can also set the preferences to jump to that screen with all the panels by swiping up (in addition to pinching), and to jump to your main home panel from any other panel by just swiping down.

Ron -

thanks for the info. I do know how to set the home screen as default. What I am looking for is a setting that will bring the home screen back after turning the screen off and turning it back on. As it stands now when I turn the screen back on, it goes to the last screen i was at.

Hope that gives you more info.

Thanks for the assistance.

When you pinch and see all your screens, one "home" icon is lit. Long press the one you want as "home" and it will change to that one.

Ah... now I see. I always thought that setting did it, since I always use my "home" button to turn the screen back on, and it always goes "home".

are you willing to try a third party lock screen? widget locker gives you the option to open to home.

or you can buy tasker and create a screen off profile with a 'go home' context so that everytime you turn your screen off it will reset for the next time you turn it back on
