Go Launcher EX or new user problem?

Rose Lacy

Lurker
I uninstalled Launcher Pro because it kept forcing my phone - Droid X - to reboot. So I installed Go Launcher Ex and I'm having a problem. I don't know if I'm the problem or the program :-)

When I install a widget, any widget, it disappears when I scroll to another page. Poof, gone.

Also, I installed several applications on one page. I decided to delete the last one added. When the menu came up I clicked delete and it deleted one of the first apps added to the page, not the one I wanted to delete. It will delete every app added before the one I want to delete.

Am I not doing something right? I'm usually astute enough to figure out how to use an application but I feel like I'm missing something. I'd appreciate some advice.

Thank you!

I don't understand what your are trying to do here. I use Go Launcher EX and don't have any problems with it. When you delete an app all you have to do is long press on the app then press delete. I don't know about the widget part.

I have exactly the same problem.
Upgraded to 2.9 and now when I delete by pressing long and selecting delete, it simply deletes some other application.

I have noticed that it deletes the first one, then the second one etc.

I had not experienced this behaviour in the earlier version (which one I cannot remember) I was using.

Most certainly it looks like a bug introduced in this release.

Deleted the app or the icon on the page?
And yeah - widgets are for one page. Scroll past the page and the widget is behind you. So to speak.
So, on each page you can put a variety of widgets and Go allows you to add windows if you run out of real estate.

I am having a issue with Go launcher right now.

The phone i have is a droidX with Gingerbread Rooted OTA and when i try to add a widget they all force close on me.

Anyone else having this problem?
