Help Go Launcher & Gingerbread

so, after reading a bunch of hype about go launcher (and my previous go-to launcher pro wigging out with gb), i decided to check it out.

installed all of 5min before i yanked it.

i'm running P3's rooted 2.3.3 rom, and when i try to open GLs preferences, i see the menu for about a second and then it closes back out to the home screen. not a crash/force close, but i can't manipulate the preferences at all.

any ideas?

Strange, I was using GB for a day and Go Launcher worked fine for me. Try clearing the app data/cache.

A lot of people have said the same....but when i first installed the rooted GB i ran golauncer for a couple weeks stable.....now i run the SPB Shell...(fantastico)

hmm...

clear cache (for the app) isn't available. clear data is, and would seem to reset the launcher back to stock. i can restart GL, but the problem remains.

rebooted the phone too...problem remains.

uninstall again, i suppose.

interesting, i have been running go launcher since the GB leak was available and i have no issues at all. it has actually replaced my all time fav. launcher pro plus. thought i would never get rid of that.

i would wipe the data for the app. go into your SD card and delete anything go launcher related and see if that works.

Go launcher EX works great on my phone now. At first I had to reinstall my Widgets twice. 1st after the actual Gingerbread update and then again after the first power cycle reboot. But I am a little irritated at the only issue remaining. The home key takes me to the HTC interface and not the home page of Go Launcher. Tried Home something program to set go launcher as default but that program errors whenever I hit the button to make go launcher the default. Ideas?
