GO SMS app

Hi,

Long time lurker here, got lots of great help from a lot of the members already in the past, but now I have a query and ive tried searching but cant find an answer to help me.

I was working with GO SMS on my Galaxy S 2.1.1, I upgraded to 2.3.3 just now, but the walkthrough for the upgrade told me to back up my SMS as they would be lost during the upgrade, I backed them up on my internal SD card and updated, sure enough the SMS were lost on my phone, I checked my files and I could see my backup available, I downloaded GO SMS again and tried to open the file and then the phone gives me a pop up box saying

"Open file
No applications can perform this action."

Does anybody know if there is a way of recovering this or are they just lost?

Ok, I feel like an idiot now, I figured it out and it was very easy don't know how I didn't manage to get it back sooner

Anybody else with a similar issue its very easy, just open GO SMS and press;

Menu >> Services >> SMS B&R >> Restore SMS >> Select files >> Recover

Ok, Mods you guess can close this I guess.
