Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, please move it if thats the case.

I have the HTC Incredible S which is completely standard and has been running, I believe ginger bread.

I've been using GO SMS for quite some time and I love it however my phone prompted me to download the ICS which I was pleased about so I did however now I am having problems.

Sometimes (more often then not) when I receive a text message I don't actually get a notification and I wont know that I have a text message unless I go into GO SMS itself and it will show at the top with several 'new messages'

This doesn't happen all the time so its not like I have turned notifications off because one min I will get a ringtone and a icon to show me that I have a text but more often then not I wont and its become somewhat annoying because its made me miss important text messages that ive only read because ive gone to text someone else and noticed that I have messages unread.

I've tried googling GO SMS forums but it always links me here.

Could someone assist me with this problem its kinda making me wish that I never upgraded to ICS.

Sorry to bump this but I really need a fix. I really don't know why sometimes it doesn't tell me I have a text other times it works as it should.
 
may be the app didn't adapt to the upgrade. try uninstalling go sms then reinstall from play store
