Go SMS Predictive Name from Address Book

Lo all,

It used to be when I used Go SMS and began to fill out the "to" field for a text recipient, Go SMS would predictively look up the name and provide me name options, then I would choose the person I wanted to text...never leaving the text screen.

Now, that's gone and it seems I have to manually go into the Go SMS's contact list and find the name. This sux! I think this changed when I upgraded to 4.9. Go SMS doesn't seem to recognize this issue upon upgrading.

Anyone know how to get this back?

Have you tried rebooting the phone? I have the latest Go SMS and it still predicts on me.

Of course! No dice. I get prediction while composing texts...just not while looking up names.

Yes I mean't on the names. Try reinstalling?

I discovered the fix and it's an odd one I think. If I change the keyboard under Settings-> Language and Keyboard->Input Method to "Multi-touch Keyboard" from "Go Keyboard", I get the predictive name (accessing my address book) to work. I don't remember using this keyboard in the past but hey, if it works...I'm all for it! Now, I'm wondering if I upgrade to version 5 what will happen!?

Also after the upgrade to 4.9, my fonts and font sizes changed to default as well...hmmmm.
