Go sms pro - help please

I have a Galaxy S2, just got it Sunday. I came from an iphone. I am trying to learn, and man is some of it frustrating. Shortly after I got the phone I installed GO SMS PRO and it worked beautifully until today. I have no idea what I did, but now when I click the GO SMS app to open it opens what appears to be my application, so the screen I see is my call logs, contacts, etc, etc. It is the exact same screen I see when I opne the phone application to make a phone call. I have un-installed and re-installed the application 3 times and each time it works fine for a few minuites and then it starts seemingly opening the phone app when I open GO SMS PRO. If I receive a text the pop up notification still comes up and if I reply it opens the text in GO SMS. But that is the only way I can get into the application. I can't see my conversation lists or anything. I just rebooted my phone and now it seems to be working properly again. It's driving me INSANE. Any ideas?

okay i got some ideas for you to try or think about
try the uninstall/reinstall trick to see if that'll help
clear the apps cache,data and maybe force close the app
if somehow it messed up system settings which i do not think has
happened do a factory reset? but i do not think it would help? could though

As of today I am now having the same issue!! It's pretty annoying I can't fix this by uninstalling and reinstalling. Long time android user, never seen an issue like this. I'd also like to find a fix that doesn't involve doing a factory reset...please help

Ok I Force Stopped the app and rebooted my phone and it works now. Oops

This happens to me every couple months.
I'll go to open my texts, and my phone is stuck on opening my contacts.

There does not seem to be a way around this.
Trying reinstalling, clearing cache, reboot ectd.

After a while this just seems to go away.
Perhaps there is an order of operations to closing, rebooting ectd.

Either way this is a bad bug.
