Go SMS Pro - Need help

Can anyone help? I just installed Go SMS Pro on my Galaxy S and set up all the personalized functions. It works great but I'm confused with the interface.

1.When I open the app it goes to my last conversation, then I have to go back one screen to see all other messages or conversations. Is this the normal function?
2. On this screen where I see all my other messages or conversations, they are all mixed. For example, inbox, outbox, drafts and so on. Is this normal and part of the app or the phone?

No ..mine doesn't do that; I have Pro activated with the standard settings. Mine opens with the individual conversation histories stored under individual threads allocated to each individual person I interact with (sent and received in order). Swiping to another window takes me to all the different "views" e.g sent, received, drafts etc.

Maybe an email to the developer if no one else can come up with advice on how to fix?
 
Not a great texter myself but I have Go SMS installed. I believe that it opens at the same place you closed it. That is, if you hit the 'Home Screen' button to exit then when you go back it'll be back where it was when you hit that button. Use the 'Back' key to exit normally.

As for all being 'mixed', I'm not sure what you mean. I went with GoSMS as it does have the option of having a simple text interface with inbox, sent, etc, folders. Just 'rotate' the screens to switch between the two.

Wow I must have missed that instruction cos I had no idea there were other screens but I don't get sent, received, drafts. Rather mine has Scheduled messages, Private message box, Filter box, Favorites, Add option.
 
yep, long time user here, u swipe for different views, also dvhttn is correct in that where you exit the program it will start there next time.
 
I'm having trouble with my Go SMS pro private message box. i placed a contact into the private box but the replies i receive from this contact still go into my normal inbox...? any ideas?

I am having a different problem. I disabled the notifications from this app, but I still get notifications from the private inbox only, and sometimes you can even access the private inbox without putting your password . I d like to find a solution to this.
 
Well I'm having a similar issue with the private box, when someone replies I'll get the notification with a lock on it, when I bring down the notification bar down and click on the notification it goes right in without requiring the password.

Now as far as you forgetting ur pw, when you first added the private box it asked u did want to send the pw to an email did u send it or not?
 
I have set up a widget on a homescreen but would like to have the full page application running there. Is there a way to do that.

If I hold down on a home screen, Shortcuts/Applications/\gosmspro it still just comes up with an icon. I would like the result of clicking on that icon on a home screen.

Any ideas?
 
I have had SMS Pro for a while, and I love it. The only thing that I can't figure out is, in the private box when you batch mode your messages, how do you recover them. You can recover regular messages that are backed up but not private messages. The private messages become invisible. How can I get the one's that are now invisible?
 
I have installed the go sms pro and put some conversations in the private box.
I want to take them back from the private box and restore them in the inbox.
how can I do that? anyone can help?

i installed go sms pro... then i had accidently deleted it... so i installed it again then i noticed i have 2 accounts with go sms pro.. how do i deactivate one of them
 
I forgot my password for gosms privy box, and I had now way to retrieve it so what I did was I cleared out the data instead. This is what I did, I pressed the APP MANAGER and then pick out GO SMS PRO and pressed CLEAR DATA. It will reset EVERY SETTING you have saved with your sms pro. Like a fresh start. Hope this helps. :)
 
My daughter uses Go SMS Pro for text messaging. Her phone was running slowly, so she took it into a T-Mobile store and the clerk cleared all the caches on her phone. Unfortunately, this deleted all of her text messages. Any way to retrieve them? She did not back up the messages. She didn't know that was an option until we went digging around in the app and saw the "back up" and "restore" tabs. Thanks for whatever help you can offer.

I'm sorry to say that they're probably gone for good. Unless you had some form of backup (which it sounds like there wasn't) then there's no other way to retrieve them.

I hate these so called techs who are are so inept they become dangerous. Methinx the bar of entry for these jobs is pretty low...

I have special setting for different contacts my problem is when I backup settings and do a restore it never restores individual settings. Goes through the process of restoring but I still have to reset all my settings manually. What am I missing?
 
Hi i have installed go sms pro on my android LG optimus V and also i have installed the "go sms emoji plugin" However when i go to send an emoji to an iphone user, they do not receive the emoji, they only get numbers boxes and symbols. as the same thing happens when they message me. i went to application settings and made sure the emoji encoding settings were on iphone setting and still they do not work. please help because this is very frustrating. thank you
 
I some text messages that accidentally got put into the FILTER FOLDER. I need to get them out but when I went to read them they were gone. But it still has the name of the folder and how many messages are in it. When I open the folder theres nothing there. Is there a way to restore my text messages from the filter folder? I have GO SMS PRO.
 
I am using android MIA2 phone and i have Go Sms Pro activated.. My private messages are all coming under one name. . Initially it was not like that , but now whenever i get a message wgich i have added as Private box ,it shows under one namewhether it is from bank or from friend .. Any solutions for this ??
