GO SMS Pro Notification light problem

I guess I can use Light Flow to rectify the situation (since I am rooted, which is required for it to function properly on the GS3), but I'm not really sure I want to do that.

I'm a little worried regarding potential Light Flow battery usage and how intrusive (seemingly hooks into a lot of different thing) it could be.

1. Im not rooted and the application works 100% flawlessly from blink rate to the colors selected, etc...

2. Battery life has not changed one bit and i've yet to come across any issues whatsoever. I havent had to touch the application settings for lightflow once after the initial setup. Great app.

I don't have S3 I have SE Xperia Arc S and I have the same problem with Go SMS Pro!Is there any solution for this I even tried 3rd party LED blink applications but they doesn't work at all!

a different go SMS Pro settings question i thought i'd lump into this thread (sorry if there's a separate thread somewhere).

when i go into GO SMS Pro, i'm taken to the last text message i sent/received.

is there a way to change this? i poked around the settings menu and couldn't really find what i was looking for. i would like to be taken to the main messaging menu.

Lightflow does in fact drain the battery faster. I ran a test where I had the phone idle for 55 mins. No screen on, no LED blinking, no new text messages, phone calls, emails, no gps, etc, just sitting there. With LightFlow installed battery drain was 8%-10%. I then uninstalled LightFlow and did the exact same thing, and battery drain was only 4% for the same amount of time.

Unforunately, I have not found another working LED app for the US galaxy s3

Have you lot tried ChompSMS? Works perfectly :-) just make sure you disable notifications for the built in SMS when using a third part app one instead as it will otherwise display notifications twice.

Also with ChompSMS you can change the colour of the flashing led when you get a text, mines on magenta ;-)

Yep ChompSMS user here and it works perfect.

There are LED settings in GO SMS. Did you check those?
I just downloaded GO SMS Pro and I can't figure out to do anything in it. I want to make my EVO V blink more than 5 minutes when I get an email, message, call, etc. It should blink until I open the item in question.

Open Go SMS, hit the Menu button on the phone, Settings is in the top right corner of the pop-up.

The top center of the Settings menu says Basic Advanced Go Chat, select Advanced and check the settings there.
