GO SMS Pro question!

I downloaded GO SMS Pro mainly for the group chat with iphone option. Now, I'm fine with everything with the app except for the contacts. When I go to make a new message and send it to someone, I try searching for their name, both by typing it in up top and by clicking the + and trying to find their name. However, many of my contacts are not listed in the contact list in the app at all! Does anyone know a remedy for this?

Are these contacts facebook contacts, or something different about them? Are their numbers properly labeled as mobile numbers (you have to set a setting for this).

Most of them that I am not getting are contacts that I've imported from facebook. As far as I can tell, everything is labeled correctly and what not. I've read its possible that because facebook puts +1 in front of all the numbers that may be why its not syncing up correctly.
And yes, under my regular contacts page they are all set as mobile numbers

I stopped using Go SMS ages ago, but I remember there was a settings somewhere regarding Facebook contacts.

Try Handcent. That's what I moved to. So far I've had no problems with it.

How does the group chat with android and Iphone users with Handcent work? I used handcent on my old phone but since this upgrade I've been trying GO SMS for the group chat features.

I've been using Go SMS for awhile but starting to get tired of it...too bloated!

I need to find another one.

In my experience you don't need an app to group chat with iPhone users. Whether it's Go or Handcent, just enable the option for sending group messages as SMS in any app and you're good to go.

i been using go sms since it first came out but it keeps getting more bloated and it has ads and they also text to you and the only way to stop it is to pay like close to 100.00 !!! for a lifetime lic so i try chomp and love it and their lifetime lic is only 1.50

I've been using go sms also but got tired of it and just started using Handcent, so far so good! This just my second day using it. :smokingsomb:
