GO SMS Problem..

Is there anyway to stop the "system" notifications that GO SMS sends out? Things like "new themes added" or "you should try GO SMS messaging"?

The stuff is just annoying.

If not, what's a good replacement program?

I've contacted GO SMS support a few times.. but no reply.

Handcent is generally considered as the best alternative to Go SMS since it has all the same features. Pansi is also a good choice although lacking in some features of Go SMS, but a lot of the important ones are there.
