GO SMS spam texts

Anyone else get those stupid "GO SMS TEAM" texts wanting you to download a new theme and all that jump?

I love this app, and now since I know I can receive pictures and have that working, I don't want to switch.

Can I block those or shut them off?

Ideas?

It has 3 "modes" - what happens if you select the simpler ones (which turn off Go Chat and the other clutter)?

I've not used it for months, so apologies if this isn't the answer.

Long press the Go SMS team in the contact list and choose 'add to blacklist'. Anything they send after this won't pop up in the regular message list. You'll still get a notification when they send you something though.
