Root Going back to stock

My rooted vortex has to go back for a warantee replacement. I un-rooted and did a factory reset only to find that all the bloatware I yanked was still gone.

This was my first attempt at rooting and ended up removing the .apk's I wanted to from my /system/app directory, added .old to the end and saved them on my SD card.

So I figured, I could just root it again and move the files back in. At least that was the idea of renaming them and moving them instead of deleting.

Nope.... ES file explorer won't let me move,copy, cut & paste anything into that folder..

Its been a while so maybe I forgot something, maybe I am looking at the wrong folder??

Help!

I looked everywhere to figure it out and ended up doing it a couple times. Here's a post that explains what I did, but I emphasize that it might not be the fastest or easiest

also: if all you need to do is move those .apks, make sure ES file explorer is set to mount /system as read/write.

Dude this is THE GUIDE. It should've been a sticky. Tekpedia posted it a while back. If you plan om returning for warranty I'd use this. LGPNST is a factory serive tool
