When i loaded this custom rom it erased my contact list. how do i go back to the way the phone was b4 i loaded the custom rom? is there a tutorial?

Are your contacts still in the cloud? I mean, are they in your google account? If so, you should be able to do a factory reset and then they should all come back when you add your email account to your phone when you set it up.
If you're only keeping contacts on your phone, you should look into MyBackupPro or Verizons Backup Assistant or other tools to keep a backup of your contacts.
An SBF file can take your phone back to stock 2.2.20 as released. You can find more info on on Rootzwiki in the D2 section on that site. Passwords for extracting after download are "rootzwiki" and "phoxusgift".

well i went back to my backup... the custom roms are just to buggy at this point. i do however really like their simplicity. just aren't as smooth as it is stock
