Help GoLauncher & DX2 - Anyone else? Weird problem...

Wife has GoLauncher Ex on her new DX2, and has a weird problem (I mean aside from the fact that she can't put it down for more than 10 minutes in a row ;-)).

Her primary home screen is full. She wants to add a widget to one of the other screens...so go to the home screen w/lots of empty space on it, long-press, select Widget from the list of options, select the widget, and then a message appears that she can't add anything 'cause the home screen is full.

What's happening, is that when she selects Widget from the list of options on the first choice screen, you can actually see the home screen switch back to the primary home screen in the background, and since that screen is full she can't add anything, so the process is blocked.

Anyone using GoLauncher and seeing this issue? I have it on my D2 and don't have this problem (running GB ROM Zombiestomped).

From what I have seen so far, the new Blur is not the travesty the previous versions were. Reviews say it is fast and actually a good launcher.

I am a Launcher Pro fan (have on my gTablet), but may give Blur on the DX2 a try.... Assuming the DX2 beats the LG Rev in my comparisons.

From what I have seen so far, the new Blur is not the travesty the previous versions were. Reviews say it is fast and actually a good launcher.

I am a Launcher Pro fan (have on my gTablet), but may give Blur on the DX2 a try.... Assuming the DX2 beats the LG Rev in my comparisons.

Only problem w/the Blur launcher is you can't change the grid - my wife (it's her DX2) wants 5x5x5 (five rows/five columns on the home screens, and five icons in the dock at the bottom) and the Blur launcher doesn't do any of those things as far as I've seen.

I do agree - the blur launcher on the DX2 is nice, but until its more customizable, it's just a little too limited for her use. I'm running Gingerbread on my D2, and the only reason I'm not using the Blur launcher there is due to the same issue...can't customize it.

Has she been able to go 5x5x5 ? I definitely want to do that, and looking for an app that can.

Did she try installing another widget? Maybe it was a problem with that specific widget?

I actually DL'd Golauncher to my DX1 last night, and the damn thing wouldn't even open to the GL settings screen. Uninstalled. I use ADW EX but the latest update gives so many redraws it has ruined the experience so I thought I would give GL a try.

I also agree that it is nice to be able to change the grid size. It's the main reason I went away from Zeam. That and I really like the 3d transitions on ADW EX. But mostly I like to have more shortcuts on my homescreen and used a 5 x 7 grid running ADW EX.

I emailed the GO team and they were very responsive, I sent them a Golauncher DB file from the phone, and it looks like the recent updates have fixed the issue...
