GoLauncher - Galaxy S6 Delete Screens

MJ9991

Lurker
I know this is a stupid question but, how do I delete extra screens? I've used GoLauncher for a long time, but for the life of me, I can't delete extra screens. With the old version I just did a long press on any of the screens but that no longer works. I know this is a simple thing to do, but have wasted so much time on this that I've finally yelled "Uncle".

TIA

It's been a LONG time since I used Go Launcher (you should really switch to Nova) but isn't there anything in the Settings to alter screen layout/remove a screen?

And welcome to the forums :)

Not that I can find...very frustrating! Grrrr!

What do you like about Nova that makes it better?

Thanks for the welcome. ☺

Well for a start, when you install it you can "import" the setup/layout from your current launcher.
It's fast, very snappy, no lag at all when returning home.
Umm too many things, hide statusbar, scrollable dock.
The pro (prime) version has gesture controls and some other cool stuff.
It's just a less bloated, more efficient alternative to Go (and no ads)
Worth a try, you can always go back to Go and it will be exactly how you left it :thumbsupdroid:

I finally stumbled across it. It's under "Edit", very faint "x" in right corner. DUH! lol

i had GoLauncher a few years back but had to switch as it got really buggy and seemed like it wasnt being maintained...then i found Nova...

One feature i did like about GoLauncher was switching between screens, it had a cool sphere animation... wish Nova had that....

about importing settings...are you saying i could install GoLauncher and import that sphere function?

also, what do you get with Nova Prime vs. free version?

No you can't import the animations, just the screen layout and tbh I can't remember what Prime offers vs free, its been too long but it probably tells you in the description. Are screen gestures and button functions in the free version?
Yeah I liked that animation too lol. I'll go see if Nova Prime has it.....
.. Nope, afraid not. You could always email the dev and request it. He's a nice guy :thumbsupdroid:
