I have downloaded, flashed and backed up both. Still in search of that flaw free Sense Rom. Really like the way the ZR3DX looks so far. Really clean and a nice font package. Maybe it's just my imagination but the graphics all look crisper on this rom. MeanRom is nice too. Gonna check em out and see what works. I never even new about custom Roms until this phone. I came to the forums to make it work, now i'm on here to make it mine! These kind of customizations would make tough to venture away from the android platform.

I concur. I just loaded this one on today and I really like it. Use JMZ's kernel if you want to overclock higher. Also, do not use the rosie tweaks right now. They FC the sense ui. Also the battery saver mod, lowers your cpu and gpu speeds. Make sure you use the negawipe and flash the VM settings too.
It's very smooth with great animations. Must be on Hboot 1.57 or 1.58 though.

Yeah Negalite runs great with JMZs kernel. I can confirm that much.
I registered and can log in on the site but I can my see anything. Is there something I am missing?

Unfortunately you have to jump through the hoops at the anthrax site but its totally worth it.
I've paired both of these roms with JMZ's kernel and I have had great results. Decent battery life and fairly peppy performance. The ZR3DX is consistently getting 100 points higher on the Quad score. I don't put too much bearing on it but I know some do. Just navigating around Mean and the ZR3DX both are pretty quick. They both have all the options I look for. The only thing I wish they had was a camera shutter sound delete. Other than that two top notch ROMS. Gotta give Harmonia and Midnight their due credit too, they have their pro's. I am new to this whole thing and I am just trying to find that equilibrium between UI, battery life and speed that suits me. This is like buying a car, everyone wants different things. I thought Mobster was great I am just a fan of Sense. Thanks again to all the devs for giving us options other than the stock software.
I believe you can use a file manager with root access (Root Explorer HIGHLY recommended) to just go delete the shutter sound. This may be too permanent of a solution for you but just an idea. I've never used either of those roms but are you sure there isn't an option in the camera settings? It just seems so simple of a thing not to have lol. You could also just lower the system-volume or get a widget that toggles it on/off.
