Root Good battery life on 2nd-init ROMs

Many have complained about getting terrible battery life on 2nd-init ROMs. After trying a few (CM7 nightlies, OMFGB, MIUI, Liquid), I almost wrote off the ROMs with the poor battery life not being worth the customizing you could do with themes. However, the thread below has provided exceptional battery life:

I know many of you don't ever visit rootzwiki, and I don't believe that thread has been posted before, so hopefully it helps many of you like it has me.

I'm currently running Liquid 2.6 (that ss is current) with each tweak listed in that thread except for the power_profile.xml, which I believe is specific to MIUI if you are running that, so there shouldn't be any issues.

rehpyc can you direct me to these liquid tweaks? There are 50 pages there and my eyes cannot handle looking through all those pages to find these......lol

The Moto GB kernel based CM4DX seems to have much better battery life for me.

Would you say comparable to the Blur ROMS? I left CM4DX due to not being able to make even 10 hours between 100% and 0%.

Definitely getting closer. Keep in mind that I have the extended battery.

Looks so much better on the phone . Well worth the dollar (although it's not a complete theme; the icons are unthemed). It's available in other colors too.

If you're running MIUI you have to boot into CWR via Rom Manager.
